«Зелёная книга», официальный правительственный документ, называемый так из-за зелёного цвета обложки. В Green Paper разъясняются проблемы широкого общественного интереса (иммиграция, социальные пособия, структура налогов и т. п.) и предлагаются возможные способы, чтобы справиться с ними. В этом документе правительство также обычно предлагает всем заинтересованным лицам выразить своё мнение. После выхода в свет a Green Paper выходит a White Paper (в белой обложке), в ней правительство объявляет о своих собственных предложениях. -
